How long do the journeys last?

The Apetahi Express connects Tahiti and Huahine in 03h00‚ Huahine and Raiatea in 01h00‚ Raiatea and Taha'a in 45min and Taha'a and Bora in 01h00. A 30-minute stopover is planned on each island to disembark and board new passengers.

Please be aware that during the Mara'amu period (phenomenon of strong winds coming from the South) from July to August‚ the crossing times are longer and the navigation conditions can be tricky. But do not worry ! Apetahi Express will text you when there is a heavy swell. In that case‚ you can modify your ticket for free‚ request a refund‚ or board anyway and show that you are an aito (warrior) 💪

Can I travel with my car or motorcycle ?

To allow a large luggage storage capacity and to ensure a fast journey‚ we only transport motorcycles and scooters. Availability is limited. Give us a call (+689) 40 50 54 59 to check it or visit one of our agencies.

What amenities are available on board ?

There's a cafe on level 1 that serves breakfast and lunch. And you can take advantage of the sundeck‚during journeys between Huahine‚ Raiatea‚ Taha’a and Bora. For safety reasons‚ the sundeck is closed between Tahiti and Huahine.

What is your no-show policy?

For no-show bookings‚ we will charge no-show fees of 3000 XPF per person if you wish to modify it or cancel it.

If I booked my a ticket for Bora Bora‚ can I disembark in Huahine‚ Raiatea or Taha'a ?

You will be able to disembark during the 30-minute stopover planned on each island. However‚ we encourage passengers in transit to stay on board to ensure a smooth and fast journey.

Can I get a refund if I cancel my trip?

You can modify or cancel your booking for free up to 48. For amendment or cancellation less than 48 hours prior departure‚ fees will apply. For more information‚ you may consult our terms and conditions.
